OK, so after reading this article about a proposal to ban gang related insignia INCLUDING TATTOOS in the herald earlier this week, it got me thinking.
How will they be able to establish the differences between gang related and non-gang related tattoos?
Sure, there are obvious differences, actual gang logos etc, but in my opinion, a ban of tattoos, even if stating that it's only gang related ones, will keep people in the mindset that tattoos are a gang related insignia.
It saddens me that there is still such a strong link between tattoos and crime.
